We explored notions of time and memory and various interactive composition methodologies, while developing scores and working upon short choreographies and improvisation.
For this project I have created a posture recognition algorithm able to detect postures from three different choreographies assigned to each one of the performers.
During the performance the dancers were exchanging postures and the system was able to detect each posture, link it to its specific choreographical phrase and assign a particular compositional sound module to the performer wearing the motion capture system.
