Following a holistic design approach, I have developed various strategies for Whole Body Interaction and designed a modular system for prototyping ideas, called EnActor.<div>All projects were realized using <a href="http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/ayoung9/orient.html">Orient-3</a>, an innovative wireless sensor based, Motion Capture system provided by the <a href="http://www.specknet.org/">Speckled Computing Consortium</a>, at the University of Edinburgh.</div><div><br /><br /><br />Several key studies and collaborations were realized that led to:<br /><br />- An Interactive Sonic Theatrical Performance based on a complete composition called <a href="http://inter-axions.blogspot.com/p/hiroshima.html">Hiroshima</a><br />- An interactive system for <a href="http://inter-axions.blogspot.com/p/interactive-flamenco.html">Flamenco Dance</a>, Duende<br />- An interactive system for <a href="http://inter-axions.blogspot.com/p/interactive-yoga_02.html">Yoga Performance</a>, EnYoga<br />- A residency in Portugal with dancers, musicians and composers where I explored interactive methodologies based on improvisation and parallel development of scores and short choreographies called <a href="http://inter-axions.blogspot.com/p/untitled-2.html">Untitled#2</a><br />- A residency in Edinburgh with a performer and two musicians forming a dialogue based on improvisational musical structures called <a href="http://inter-axions.blogspot.com/p/untitled-1.html">Untitled#1</a><br /><br /><br /><br />All projects were realized between 2007-2010,<br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Duende, EnYoga and Hiroshima were realized using the proposed Whole Body Interactive system EnActor</span></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1080874391193021983-8505020325271048433?l=inter-axions.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Vangelis Lympouridishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11765365652217217675noreply@blogger.com
